Re: 95 1.6 dropping a cylinder
If you have a stock intake tube (between the air meter and throttle body), check it around the bellows for cracks. I've had the same issue on BPs as well as my Protege5 and every time it was leaky intake tube.

Re: MX-3 Wins LeMons Championship
I'm the owner of that MX3 and check in to the forums every so often. I love this little MX3. It's been one of the most fun cars I've put together and just keeps going. We just finished a 14 hour race at Daytona (was out for about an hour repairing damage from contact) and will be competing in a full...

Re: Lemons MX3 Build
On a more serious note, you should probably try to close that rear hatch hole somehow. Maybe with a piece of plastic. I don't know what kind of speeds you reach at lemons, but I'd bet that, at least, it would help your fuel mileage... On the front straight, we were approaching 90 MPH. I've ...

Re: Lemons MX3 Build
hehe. I put that on there at the request of a friend. Without the hatch, the MX3 really does look a lot like a Del Sol.Inodoro Pereyra wrote:Ok, I know you think it's funny, but that emblem on the hood is probably robbing you at least 5 HP.

Re: Lemons MX3 Build
Hello all, I am the perpetrator of this build :) . Paul (cout) informed me of this thread at this weekend's LeMons race, so I figured I'd look for it. I've been a lurker here for a bit, but never registered. I've been a bit of a BG chassis nerd for quite some time. The MX3 is nearly identical chassi...
