Re: Airbag clock spring in non-airbag mx3
I definitely want to give this a try! I already replaced my 93 dash with the one from a 95 so having enough room in there shouldn't be much of a problem. The 6 steering wheel itself is already in my mx and I managed to fit it in there without a lot of trouble. Getting the horn to work was a little t...

Airbag clock spring in non-airbag mx3
Does anyone know whether or not this airbag clockspring and arms unit from the newer mx3's will be a straight fit into my 93 model? http://www.amd-parts.de/AMD-Parts/Pictures/Mazda_MX3_94-98_16/CIMG6183.jpg I know I have to replace both of the arms as well, but I'm merely asking whether or not it wi...

[WTB] 94-98 Passenger Side Airbag Cover
Switched my old 93 dash out with a 95 one a month or so ago, but it is missing the passenger side airbag cover. I need this one! Since my 93 model never came with airbags, I won't really be needing the actual airbag itself, just the plastic trim that covers it. Does anyone have one for sale or know ...

Mazda 6 steering wheel buttons info needed!
I recently purchased a used Mazda 6 steering wheel off of ebay complete with audio and cruise control buttons. I put it in my MX-3 without any kind of problem and am wanting to connect the steering wheel buttons (primarily the audio ones) to my head unit (which supports steering wheel control) Now, ...

Heater Control Unit
Does anyone know if replacing the heater control unit on a model 93 MX3 with the one from a newer model will be a straight fit?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Clutch/Switch
You were right. The car idles incredibly funny when that switch is disengaged. Anyway, I found the short and the car is back to normal idle. Now, off to buy a set of new fuses as all my spare ones have been sacrificed in the attempt to fix the short.

Clutch/Switch
On top of the clutch pedal there's a switch which, when the clutch is down, is activated and de-activated when the clutch is up. What is that switch for? I have removed it for now as it was causing my one of my fuses to burn. However, I can't see any differences or anything malfunctioning?

Re: Honda S2000 Style "Engine Start" button
After having looked through hundreds of posts on this site, it appears to me that the two black wires are both 12V power wires and that the black/blue wire in the other switch is for the starter. Can anyone confirm this?

Re: Honda S2000 Style "Engine Start" button
Thanks for the reply. I'll try installing the button the other way around. I'll start with connecting the two wires going to the ignition. I just need a simple: "turn-the-key-to-on-past-the-acc-position-and-then-press-the-start-button". What wire colors would I need to splice into? I guess...

Honda S2000 Style "Engine Start" button
I know a couple of you guys installed one of these nifty little buttons in your cars - I am in the midst of putting one in my V6, but I need a little help. Anyway, I put the button where my cig lighter once was, got some power connected to it so that the two wires going TO the relay will carry 12V o...
