I have a 4 cyl. also and mine overheats after I get on it a little bit and then I sit at a stop light, or if i slow down and just cruise again it starts to overheat..it then cools down when i take back off...I changed the thermostat and made sure my fans are kicking on...but I am also burning throug...

Preperation for tranny and engine swap
I am about to swap my stock 4 cyl. engine for a Ford Escort GT motor and tranny, besides motor and tranny, do I need any other things from the escort or will the motor and tranny bolt right up?

Because I need a new engine and transmission...and I was hoping to jus buy a complete car and pull it out and put them in my car...unless you know a good place to get an engine and tranny for cheap

Protege Motor and Tranny into an MX3
I have a 93 MX3 and the tranny is going bad and the motor is got too many miles on it, would a Motor and Transmission from a 94 Protege work in it? If not what motor and transmission would you recommend?
