Yes, it will turn over with the starter. It just wont start. I was considering the distributor. I have seen on this site that people have had problems with the stock ones.

Ok, 1992 MX-3 4-cyl with A/C. When I start it first thing in the morning it fires right up and runs fine. But when i drive for about 10 minutes or more and shut it off it wont start for at least an hour. But, this is where it gets weird, push start it and it'll start right up and run fine. i can als...
