Re: klo3 IM on K8

I would have to say, probably not. The ports would not match up. And create a lot of turbulance. It would be like a bottle neck.

Re: Hydro locking

this is blown out of proportion. Ask yourself this. How many cases have you heard of hydro locking with a "reasonable" cold air intake? Myself? none. How many people do I know or with cold air intakes? Way too many. I believe if you use common sense and not drive through lakes you will be ...

Re: 17 LHO2S inversion error

dont forget a mismatched ecu/vaf combo. Which would also probably bring up the RH inversion error as well.

Re: 7000RPM redline...

I honestly see no problem taking your car up a wee bit past 7. Just dont stay there forever. Get in get out. The engine feels great in first gear at around 7200-7500 and second around 7000-7200. Its a high revving engine. I wouldn't do this every "take-off" but I would never say its how yo...

Re: junkyard etiquette

most yards that I've been too, I bring my socket set, and take the parts off myself. Bring them up to the front and pay for them. usually you just ask if you can take a look around, find the part your looking for, ask if you can take it. he will usually give you 2 prices, one is if you take it off y...

Re: Coolant spitting from overflow tank

could also be a leak in the upper rad hose, causing your system to refill itself using the extra in the overflow tank. THis happened to me, my car would appear to overheat, the gauge would shoot up, but would be back to normal after I pulled over.

Re: KLZE vs. KLDE - Practical Considerations

I got mine done there. a few things. Ask for a curved neck intake manifold. Do not let them put your stock k8 manifold on in place of it. Make sure they use the ZE ecu and the 1.8 VAF (or) the 2.5 (US spec) ecu, and the 2.5 VAF or even the 1.8 ecu and the 1.8 vaf (though I hear this is the worst for...
