Re: Supercharging
If you want to look into supercharging, read this whole WL, this car is an amazing machine and it should give you an idea what to expect. As for everyone using a transfer shaft, your reading some dated info, most those setups overheated and burned out the bearings everyones gone to what weed is doin...

Re: Sleeper6's Gold 92GS
so good news, shes still running! Spent the morning cleaning out the car of most the spare parts, although I still have a Kl long block in the trunk  Was going to get the gf to help pull it out but pretty sure she pulled something so its aiding in my rear traction for a bit longer. However cr...

Re: kulluminati777 - 1993 MX-3 GS
looking good! Never noticed till now but I like the painted disty. As for your gaskets, just get hightack spray gasket, its even what subie owners use for OEM headgasket jobs, it works wonders and still does a clean even job. As for your strut bar, has anyone ever looked into making a spacer kit for...

Re: Engine Removal
Buy an electric impact if you dont have access to an air one, it will save you some time, heck bring it to me and I can have a K out in about an hour lol. 2 simple things you will want to make sure of, pull the intake on the KL and swap the knock sensor over to the belt side of the motor before you ...

Re: KLZE? Or What?
colt cams will require sending in your old DE cams to them and about $400-500 to get them reground. If your trying to do this and keep the wife happy, just drop the pan, check your rod bearings and call it a day if they are good. If not you might as well plan on the whole works arp head studs will r...

Re: KLZE? Or What?
ZE cams can be had for around the $200 range, and would be well worth it. In the 2 DEs I had there was a noticable difference in the one with the ZE cams in it. The colts are going to be even more aggressive, all depends what your looking for. And just an fyi you may want to consider replacing the h...

Re: KLZE? Or What?
why are you splitting the heads on such a clean motor? Ild be more concerned with dropping the pan and doing a visual on the #6 rod bearing and if its good call it a day the motor looks nice on the inside. You already know its not the most powerful as your lacking the ZE 31 cams so who really cares ...
