Removing EGR reduces MPG?? If you removed all of it and capped off the vacuum hoses it should still run fine. its normal, its just worn out shifter bushings. If it bugs you that much hit up corksport for some bronzoil bushings.

High flow walbro pump to start, possibly Mill S injectors wouldnt be a bad idea depending how often you plan on spraying. Shut off switch if its not on full throttle, and if your rocking a true ZE you might want to think about DE valve train as well, ZEs tend to crack at extended higher rpms. Think ...

works fine, have one on mine since my KL went south. Only thing you have to fab up is to re-position your convertor about 6" back
