the timing belt is on perfect it cranks over like its gunna start but doesnt have that kick like it wants to ... is there any sensors that would effect it at all ??

My v4 isnt working after an engine swap
i recently switch my engine in my 1996 mx3 the motor was just stock 4 cylinder and i blew the motor. i had a 94 mx3 engine still a 4cylinder laying around so i swapped it and now it wont start it cranks over but doesnt kick.... i have spark and fuel but it still wont start.. can anyone give me ideas...
