Re: Letters11 - 1995 MX3 1.6

Make sure you use a white primer. That color as well as my raspink uses a white primer. (the primer color will make a huge difference in the finish color) I used a white primer and it was REALLY REALLY bright. I then used a gray primer and it was still bright. So i used the same primer as the rear ...

Re: Letters11 - 1995 MX3 1.6

Thanks! I got a can from Advanced Auto Parts. It was an "exact color match for ford vehicles." The color on the cap of the spray can was spot on color, but its hard to get the primer right, so its either too dark or too light. I did the rear mudflaps and sides with this color from the can....

Re: Anyone use this kind of shifter

i think hes asking how you would go about installing it. the stock shifter uses a big white ball type joint where this one has a round cylinder at the pivot point. i was also wondering this recently... Yes! This was exactly what I was asking. I just didnt know how it would move inside the 2 white p...

Anyone use this kind of shifter

http://www.handhelditems.com/popup_imag ... 9267&img=0

Just wondering if this type will work as opposed to the ball type instead of this cylinder. I had another short shifter but when I installed it, there was ALOT of play from side to side even with the bushings. Thanks

Re: Letters11 - 1995 MX3 1.6

Nice job. Good tasteful work you've done so far. I can't quite picture it in my head right this second, but I believer there is a tab that connects the two halves of the lip where that glue is. I am not sure which side has the tab and which side has the hole, but I'm pretty sure there is a connecti...

I assummed so. If you look from straight on it doesnt look too bad, painted over nicely too. I should be able to chip that away and have it be back to normal? Thanks

Re: Mini Sideskirts Install

I have finally mounted my mini sides by a little improvising. The procedure is as follows. 1. First I cut the middle black piece on the mounting tabs on the underside of the body so there is an open rectangle (black plastic piece). 2. Took a sharp screw/nail/drill bit and poked a hole up into the to...

Re: Car Making Strange Noise

is it lifter noise? sometimes thatll be real loud when idling but will get quiet when you give it gas No im pretty sure its not a lifter noise. Have you watched my video in my original post to try and listen? Its kind of hard to hear it but maybe it will narrow it down for you. I appreciate your in...

Re: Car Making Strange Noise

hmmmm back to the drawing board that was my best guess, id say have your water pump checked out like you said then Yea idk what it is. I had a mechanic friend say it could be something under my timing covers, idle or tensioner. Considering it only makes this moise at idle. Any amount of gas will st...
