I'm looking to crack down what distributor my car has (and what it came with) Does anyone have any quick references i can use to pick up if the distributor i have is OBD-1 or 2, and if it has the cam position sensor? Also, what cars have what distributor? Mx-3s are rare around here, what other Mazda...

I took a look, the distributor has the same order as the KL-ZE's Distributor. Is this common for 95 specifically or is it the distributor they found? I'll have to take it off tomorrow and find the part number

I bought an MX-3 w/ a K8 thats having a firing issue, its a 1995 (obd1) with a "new" (read: from scrapyard) distributor, but has a timing issue and I'm pretty sure its in limp-mode. What distributor should this car have?

Is there a less chance of getting scammed if its the curved neck then? I was going to go with one of those. As long as it says KL31 on the head, and has flat pistons (Take one of the front spark plugs and shine a light in). Where abouts do i take a look for an extra coolent plug? I'm not to worried ...

After a little more running it appears theres also a leak in the very front of the motor, the cylinder head cover is leaking down the front of the motor. They cleaned it up before i bought it. Could that be causing vacuum issues?

Does any one know how to remove the frames from around the windows? I'm a huge fan of the style, and i have seen MX-3s without them. What all would be required to do this?
