Re: Charge light keeps comin on.....
You can get a used alternator from a junked car for under $30 if you look. But if you remove it yourself, it can prove to be a huge pain in the *** .
You can us MX6, 626 and Probe ones if you want too, they are all the same ones as on your 1.8 V6

a cap and seal for the engine? The radiator cap is the only thing I can think of, which you could jack off any junkyard mazda.

Re: Serious engine mount question
no, the passenger mount uses a different bracket, and the two lower mounts are mounted to a different crossmember with different hole locations.
the #4 mount which is under the battery is the same however.

Re: Cylinder Head Cover
yeah, use some gasket sealant. You can buy a tube of it for like $3 at any autoparts store. Just use a little bead on the gasket and then shove the valve cover back on the car.
The 10mm bolts only need to be tightened to about 20 ft lbs which isn't tight at all. You can use a 1/4" ratchet to ...

Re: CV boot
I think it is easier and more feasible to just replace the axle. Undo the hubnut, undo the top two strut bolts and swing the hub as far away from the axle as possibly..and nudge the axle out.
Yank it out of the tranny and put a catch can under to catch the trans fluid.
You can get axles from any...

Re: $119 coilovers?
yup. If there is one thing i've learned, it is if i'm going to mod my car, do it right the first time.
And those coilovers are most likely some generic spring with a sleeve that will fit hundreds of other applications.
Damn I need to get me a spring making machine and start marketing these. The...

Re: Suspension Technique Or H&R??? The Best one is?? And
you like to take things i say literally don't you.
I mean arospeed gets the measurments of the strut perch, and designs a spring wide enough to fit a mx3, but it uses civic springrates.
Gee, i guess i have to clarify every f**king thing for you don't I?

mazdatuningmag meet? yeah i'm going. I have to polish my car up a bit, but I will be there...just my car might be a little dirty. So you are going? Hope to see you there and meet some MX'ers instead of the typical Protege crowd (which is about 95% 3rd gen owners anyways....so it sucks ).

I'm in Annapolis, MD.
If i get one, i'm going to swap all my protege crap over to the MX and slap my GTR motor in there. I'm just hoping it doesn't bec...

Re: Dropzone coilovers for 91-96 Escort, will it.....?
yes they will fit, but dropzones use civic springrates, so don't expect any performance out of these...just get them for looks.
