Re: how do i get the power window motor out?
yup, just lower the window until you see the two 10mm bolts, undo them, and lift the glass out.
then you'll notice that there are bolt heads sticking out of your door frame...just undo them and the regulator should fall to the bottom of the panel. Then manuever it so you can get the regulator out....

Re: Mazda engineers caught sleeping.
yeah dood, i WISH they designed the manuals like the auto. the auto'/s have a dipstick w/tube going into it. You can just fill it up by shoving the fluid into the tube. I wouldn't care about how slow it'd take...it'd save a LOT of heart ache compared to that stupid speedometer gear opening!!!
And ...

Re: MAJOR coolant leak...help
oh ya, there are two gaskets for the water pump. The one i'm talking about CAN be accessed without removing a lot of crap from the motor. It has a pipe coming off of it, that runs under the exhaust manifold, around the other side under the thermostat and a hose connects it into the heater core insid...

Re: MAJOR coolant leak...help
either:
1: Your lower radiator hose came off (not likely)
2: Your water pump gasket blew (very likely).
The gasket is kinda hard to get at, and there is only 2 14 (maybe 12) mm bolts holding it on. Its a peice of **** too. Its made out of cardboard!! I bought a couple of them for $1.29 each f...

Re: I need help on Dropzone coilover
This is typical with smaller diameter coilovers. Since your stock spring perch is about 2x wider in diameter than the actual coilover spring (or sleeve), when you corner moderately hard, your coilover will "shift" on the perch making a clunk noise.
NOt a big deal, and is very typical wit...

? For those of you with RED MX-3's
I'm about to buy a 93 GS 5spd that is red in color. I've yet to be able to test drive it, and I have a question about the paint.
DOes the paint have clearcoat on it? I know some other red mazdas do not, and when you go to polish the paint, the red rubs off onto your cloth

Re: Anyone in MD know a good body shop?
There is a shop in Waldorf, forgot its name, that my friend is getting his Sentra SER done at (its a 1993 sentra).
The guy molded R32 taillights into his car, and molded the front and rear bumpers, and sideskirts, and did a custom paintjob w/airbrushed graphics on it. All of this for $2600!! Chea...

Yeah but think about whoever is going to make these lights...do you really think they'd settle for a 20 dollar profit per set sold?
If we use the carbon fiber model, i say you just get some molds made that bolt in, but don't come with headlight housings.
