I went out and bought a new boot, and it fits my new shift knob fine.

I just installed my cd deck about 3 weeks ago... And i hope you plan on doing this on a day with nothing else to do, because it took me 3-4 hours to do. The trickiest part about doing it, if finding all the screws to get the dash off. There are like 30 screws just to get to the old deck. I have a 93...

Well d*mn, i have the same problem... I am too lazy to get up and get creative. But if i ever solve the problem, i will post it and tell you what i did. The rattle is soooo annoying too. I thought it was the spare tire thing, but it is actually my eclipse 5.25"
