That's why it's a bad idea to dump the bypass valve to atmosphere, my buddy did that, and to keep it running he buggered with the timing, Hi there valve, meet piston.

When the plastic/rubber pipes get older, they crack and leak, boost pressure is lost, and you're losing metred air. Your car runs like a-- and will stall every chance it gets. It's too bad mitsus are like that. Keep on top of that timing belt! Once you throw teeth you throw valves.

I'm in shock, that car isn't worth anything. The body is horrendous, interior looks like elmo got wasted and projectile vomited all over it, and the fabrication scares me. I'd hate to be inside that car when the rear end let's go.
