Re: Broke Down need help QUICK
Hmmm, sorry.
I wish I could buy it from you, but I'm too far away, and also in bad shape. Recession can be a b!tch, can't it?
Try putting it on the "for sale" board.
Good luck!

Barefoot: don't get discouraged. The cooling system is probably one of the simplest systems in an engine.

Re: bent shift shaft on trans now what?!
Stupid auto parts store I had to wait all day to get my new axle seals... Am gonna give this a go tomorrow, and about that thing falling out I hope it goes back in easy. Believe me: with or without tutorial, the differential spider gears are the least of your problems. Especially if this is your fi...

Re: MX3-Life's - 1994 MX-3 GS (Body Kit Painting)
house of kolor also has some really nice kandy in rattle cans.. :D Hmmm, I've never used them. I used a bunch of Kandies for lexan, when I used to race R/C cars, but they're not quite as clear as the metalcast, and definitely nowhere near as shiny. I guess now I'll have to try the HOK ones. Thanks ...

Re: screws stripped
Advance Auto Parts has them. For the front, the pads are part # CMX 473, brand is "Friction Master" For the rear, if you have discs, the pads are part # CMX 366, same brand. Or of you have rear drums, get Wagner, part # PAB 659. I'm not sure the wagners are ceramics, but at least they're g...

Re: screws stripped
found that out cause now my stock rims are almost completely black need to take better car of my car. Yep. But switching to ceramics means not only taking better care of your car, but also taking better care of yourself, and, believe it or not, your wallet. Ceramics normally cost 2 to 3 times more ...

Re: MX3-Life's - 1994 MX-3 GS (Body Kit Painting)
ahh... im the only guy here who likes it.... :) i would paint the whole thing tho.. what color blue is that?? Nope, I like it too. I'm kinda sick of ricers putting body kits in their cars and then going to any lengths to blend them in and make them look stock, so this "in your face" appro...

Re: 1.8 V6 - Engine Tuning
I have custom carbon fiber pistons on my second project car... it also uses compressed air from 2liter soda bottles to increase intake pressure. Some may recall this beast... This is before I could afford the electric supercharger. I cant WAIT to get it! PS. welcome to the boards... don't be alarme...

Re: screws stripped
so its possible to remove the dust sheild? Yes it is. You just have to remove the spindle first, and then remove the 4 bolts Umcamara was talking about. By the way, I agree, those bolts are WAAAYYY too much for the dust shields. I guess Mazda engineers wanted to make sure they didn't fall off... :s...

Re: bent shift shaft on trans now what?!
Well, the best advise I can give you is: take pictures of every step you make. Detailed pictures up close, and keep everything organized.
Good luck, and let us know how it goes.

Well, initially, I thought he had made a mistake.
Now, I think it IS funny, and I think the name of the race (and the race itself) is a great idea.

I was about to make a comment like that one, but, luckily, I googled it first. There is a "24 Hrs of LeMons" race in Texas.Mnemonic wrote:I like Lemons, do you plan on making lemonade at all?

Re: bent shift shaft on trans now what?!
I wish it was the car side but no it is on the trans. At least its not raining. It is the one in the picture. I've spent all my money on this car new engine all that good stuff... So needless to say I don't want to pay some dude to put a new shift shaft in. Is it complicated? I have a spare tranny ...
