Re: Sunroof lifter broken?
There's only one electric motor that does everything. You probably have either a lubrication problem, dirt/rust jamming something, or something worn out. You will have to take off the roof lining, to then be able to see the mechanism and troubleshoot it, and eventually take it off the car, if needed...

You know I could never do that. I'm shy...
Seriously though, it's sad to see the forum go. I keep lurking on other Mazda forums, but they don't even come close to this one.

Re: nice to see the forum is still alive
Well, it's not that "alive", unfortunately. And the mx-3 facebook page is chock full of a-holes.

Re: Ok, good news and bad news...
Ok, update. After talking to a friend about going to Chile, he advised me to go to Peru instead, as Chileans don't like us. So I went to Lima. So I spent 20 days in that city. I gotta say I never expected Lima to be a more miserable city than Buenos Aires. I stand corrected. In any case, I'm back in...

If it's not in here...
http://mazda-mx3.com/downloads
Download it. Everything about the mx-3 should be there, so it probably will prove itself useful in the future.

Re: Sequence Engine Cables - V6 K8
Hmmm... You ask a question about cables, but post a vacuum hose diagram.
What exactly are you talking about?

Re: Ok, good news and bad news...
Hey, old fart. Nice to see you're still around. :D I was contemplating going to Canada, finally, but a Canadian acquaintance told me even if I get a job offer, they may reject me because of my age. So, chances are, I'm going to Chile. Next Tuesday I get on the plane. We'll see what happens there. Th...

Re: Ok, good news and bad news...
Thank you Savin. :) Yeah, I've always been a determined guy. But, to be honest, when you're 50, and nothing you've done so far has gone right, the determination starts to fade. That, and I'm getting really sick of being rejected everywhere. It's getting into my very last nerve. Either way, gotta kee...

The next step(s)
So... about 5 years ago, I started this thread: http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=72518 I had just switched from Windows to Ubuntu Linux, and was, at the time, very pleased with it. Then, Canonical (the makers of Ubuntu) started moving toward making it more "Windows-like"...

Re: Ok, good news and bad news...
Oooo...k... Here's a little update. After spending almost two years, working like a pig in my country, I finally got enough money to get out. Following several people's advice, I decided to move to Southern Spain, because I had been told that, first, Latin Americans didn't need a Visa to get to the ...

Re: cold bloodied V6
You're very welcome, sir. :D Actually, albeit off topic, this discussion may end up being constructive after all. All these years, I never realized people had a different understanding of what a "proper warm up procedure" was. I always assumed everybody knew the difference... Coolan...

Re: cold bloodied V6
Up until the combustion chambers (and especially the cylinder and piston heads) reach full operating temperature, if you step on the throttle, the extra fuel injected into the cylinder can have a(n over)cooling effect in the cylinder, and can cause some hesitation. That's normal of all engines, but...

I could easily start personally attacking like you're starting to, but I prefer to be civilized. No need to be a bunch of keyboard warriors here. I'm not attacking you personally. If you felt my words were in some way intended as that, I apologize. I was just stating, once again, my (by now, I shou...
