Yes get some 220's like someone said they should be good for at least the 4 psi your running. Do you have a boost gauge? or air/fuel gauge ? Is the cutting out only when the motor sees boost? Try disconnecting the pipping just before the VAF. run the car up to redline. is it normal. without boost th...

vris will have nothing to do with the cutting out. The spark plug gap could very well be the culprit. the more boost you have the smaller the gap. gap them down to .030", should be plenty for 4psi. I didn't see your complete setup anywhere. Are you using the stock fuel injectors? if not you cou...

look at the group buy section. There's a good list of what you'll need. It also includes a list of things that need to be modified before you can bolt on a kit. Use that post as a reference only!. I know I've posted this list before but I'll post it one more time. 93 GS 1.8T I have over 30,000 miles...

I don't have the anwsers but I know who would. "shadome" on the probetalk forums should. He is one of the group buy builders for megasquirt for probes and mx-6's. He's not shy about helping out either.

I highly doubt its me but because I don't have access to youtube (banned here at work) I can't say for sure. I have never filmed my car but thats not to say someone else didn't. If it was my car I'm going to assume you can see the back of it. What are the plate #'s.

How much have I spent? When I bought the hot pipes I paid $600 now you can get them for $200 or less. so lets use the $200 dollars price for arguments sake. The first turbo I bought off ebay for $250 never boosted so I had to buy a second turbo for $300. So If I had to do it over I'd be up to $500 s...

Ya, sorry I just reread the first post. My motor is stock not built. If I had to pull the motor I would Probably try for a cheap KL 2.5 and swap all my turbo components over to it. But if someone were say selling/giving away a K8 I would go with it. I don't know what power I'm at currently, I doubt ...

I must be an idiot. dammit I thought I was smarter than that. I think I have #1 covered, fastest k8 MX3. I don't feel its a waste of time or money. Everything I have can be transfered over to any k series motors. I do agree that nitrous is not needed. At 12psi your not going to have any traction lef...

I don't see how you could use the downpipe from the ssac hot kit
without modifing the cross members. Unless of course you were to
use a custom downpipe.

A couple of things not on your list to keep in mind. If you go with the hot pipes off ebay, you will need to modify the front to back motor mount bracket and the side to side stabilizer, I also took the oil pan off to have a drain tube welded on, what a pain that was. There is going to be maybe a 6-...

MY 93 GS came standard with them. After the first couple of uses they proved to be almost useless. Every quick start or stop or sharp turn would put your drink in someones lap. We only used them on the long highway hauls.

That is the size turbo I'm running on my 1.8L GS. I know the turbo will not be the same on your 2.5L but from my experience and from what I have read on Probetalk that is a good choice . full boost comes in at 4500rpm in first causing wheel spin. then around 4000 rpm in second I have the same proble...

I get somewhere between 20- 26 mpg. It really depends on how often
I get into the boost. This is on my 1.8T at 12 psi

I paid $15000 back in 93 for my car. sticker said $18000.
there were options that were not included in that 14,995 price.
I still have the original window sticker.
