Also if the timing belt is broken how did he check the compression? I have replaced the timing belt 4 times, the first time took approx 12 hours. the last time took 3-4 hours. By the way it wasn't the belt that went bad each time it was the water pump. If your in there replacing the timing belt you ...

Search on my posts. That should help a little bit towards your 1.8 turbo
project.

that would work but you'd still need a threaded nipple.
not to mention the cost of that adapter is more than my whole AFPR kit.

Mine came with 2 different adapters. One like you described, flat on one side and a nipple on the other side. The second one was very similar to the first accept the flat side had a groove for the o ring. The flat one without the groove will not seal at all. sorry your kit did not come with the seco...

The obvious thing to make your idle hunt up and down is if you are running without the TB coolant lines hooked up. I found after installing the 255lph fuel pump that I ran way to rich and couldn't get the idle stable. The stock FPR just can't handle the pressure from that pump. I added an AFPR and a...

If you look into the meets section of this site you can see my setup by looking at last years cars. I'm the teal MX-3. Not much has changed since then. Thats in the Flyrtle Fladness meet. Not to be confused with Goldmember, a different Andy. He has the gold MX-3 setup. I have the millenia intake on ...

The part I was refering to was that fuel adapter plate that you were going to replace your stock FPR with. Don't use it. Use the FMU. and keep your stock FPR. You can run this setup, its just not very accurate as far as fuel goes. An Adjustable (AFPR) would be better than stock. You need both, an FM...

I have not seen one of those used on a turbo set up. I would leave the stock FPR on there or replace it with an adjustable one. The FMU is supposed to work with the FPR and not ment to replace the FPR. With that Fuel adapter you would have no way of knowing what your fuel pressure is. Andy P. 93 GS ...

Congrats on the win. But, 15 psi is at least 3psi more than I would ever suggest pushing it with only 220 cc injectors. They will not support that kind of horespower. I would suggest you get the next step in size. that is the 280cc injectors out of the millenia supercharged version. They will also j...

I like it, but I don't think I could live without my AC.
You could really screw with our heads with that broken boost gauge.
13psi is pushing it hard with a KLZE.

Hope to see you soon on the road.

congrats on the win/win. I had thought to mention checking the in/out fuel lines on the FMU, sorry I didn't. One thing to mention is that your fuel pressure should not be a steady 45 psi when you are boosting. It should increase with each psi of boost. So at 4 psi you should see approx. 60 psi of fu...

My best 1/4 mile. 14.4 @ 105 mph w/ 2.5 60' but don't let that fool you. its much quicker than that, I just don't abuse it at the launch. On the street from a 2nd gear roll I have not lost to any mid 13 second cars yet. I did lose to a nice looking porsch gt2 and a newer looking vette. but I also ha...

My external wastegate was suppose to have a 4 psi spring in it when I ordered it. The reality was that I wound up with a 7psi spring. You could have a different spring in there. If your boost gauge is not working properly, maybe your actual psi's are much higher than you think. I have a narrow band ...
