Re: Mx-3 Rolled-On Paint Job

Hey guys, Just thought I'd chime back in again. The roller job is holding up great. Since I did it, I've done ~15000 kms back and forth across the 401 between Durham region and Scarborough for my commute. Anyone that knows that area knows the road is in terrible shape, torn up, lots of stones flying...

That's my wife's car. But if I'm nice, she lets me drive it. :P
We also have a minty 91 Miata that's sleeping for the winter.

Re: Mx-3 Rolled-On Paint Job

Cool. From what I've heard, white is the easiest colour to do this roller job with. Re: Mx-3 Rolled-On Paint Job

Between 12 and 17 degrees Celcius, the Brightside paint I used said it could be applied up to a low of 10 degrees C.

If its too cold, it could affect curing. Do you have a garage you can use, or a propane heater you can borrow?

Re: Mx-3 Rolled-On Paint Job

Yep, exactly! I got all kinds of bugs landing in my paint (I painted outside) and they would all come out after wet sanding really easily.
