Yes! As other says! Do a lot of research!

doesnt need to be kl related but i would read about forced induction in general! Try to understand what does every component do in a setup.

learn about tuning and management in general!

these kit aren't bad as far as piping and stuff go. but usually a cheap turbo, shitty wastage and BOV.

if you wanna go this route your probably better off buying the hot pipe from ebay and a intercooler kit. and piece the rest together.
You would still need some kind of Fuel management. Megasquirt ...
