Well, where I live its legal to tow a car with a chain but there has to be a certain amount of distance between the two, I think its like 10ft but Ive never kept that much room in between and ive pulled alot of stuff.

Should have a buddy with a truck and just tow it.... Oh right, city people. Agreed, Get someone with a truck and grab a chain.
