Replacing 5th and Reverse shift fork on 92 GS
How do you do it? It looks like I can just knock out that retaining pin and then shift it into 5th and the fork would drop right off, but I Don't know. Any thoughts as to what kind of metal those are made out of? I can't get one from the auto parts store, so I guess a dealer ship will have to do. An...

Lately my baby's been poping out of 5th gear, so I took the inspection plate off and the shift fork is worn. I can't get one from the auto parts store, and a dealer is going to be expensive as...

Re: WTB: 94 Mx-3 1.6DOHC Radiator ASAP Please help
Radiators.com is probably the best. Call them again. I ordered one Monday (9/22/08) and had it Tuesday (9/23/08) Brand new and half of what the auto parts store wanted for it.

WTB MX-3
After fixing my gf's MX3 I've fallen in love with the cars and want to buy one for myself. Looking for a 5 speed with a sunroof and would prefer a 1.8L but wouldn't mind a 1.6. Other details arent very important. I live in NW Georgia(Rome) and would be willing to travel 300 miles or so to pick one up.

Re: WTB MX-3 Rad
Thanks for the tip. Ordered the Rad Monday and it is supposed to be in today (Tuesday). 230$ shipped. Beats Advanced Auto's price by 240$. ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

The car is an automatic V6. I live in Northwest GA and would be willing to travel to surrounding area's to pick up a radiator or pay to have one shipped if the price is right.

Re: Car died. Troubleshooting help.
Distributor turns so timing belt is good. I guess i'll replace the disty or mod it to accept an external coil. Can anyone tell me what wires to check to make sure the distributor is getting power before I start tearing it apart?

Re: Car died. Troubleshooting help.
Thanks for all the suggestions and sorry for the delayed response, I don't have much free time when I can check these sort of things. So first thing I checked was for a spark and there isn't one. Based on her description of how the car died, I would say it's the distributor. I guess i'll pull that o...

Re: Car died. Troubleshooting help.
The car wouldn't start after it died, waited about 5-10 mins and it started fine. I can't provide any maintenance information on the car, it's my girlfriends and that was the story as she told it. The oil is mostly clean so im assuming someone has been taking care of it. Can anyone offer any pointer...

Car died. Troubleshooting help.
It's a 93 v6 Mx-3. I was driving to work and the car sputtered and died. I waited a little bit and tried starting it and it fired right up and got me the rest of the way to work. After work it started up fine, but halfway home sputtered and died again. Once again waiting paid off and the car started...
