Re: K8 to KL swap. EGR install???

Assuming you mean the KLZE, from what I gathered, when you do the swap you need to plug the EGR since the stock K8 motor has no EGR system. I imagine a plug that has the same sized threads as the EGR could be sourced at a parts store or hardware store. Since I haven't got that far, I'm not 100 perce...

Both sets? Not sure that I want to part with both sets at this time. I'll part with one set for now.

Advice please, what would you do?

I have a 92 GS. I blew the head gasket in the stock 1.8. I decided to pull it in hopes of getting a ZE. Not only did I pull the motor - I pretty much stripped and gutted the car, partly due to boredom, partly in hopes of replacing old with new  . I have a decent stock of parts, as seen here: h...

Re: [WTB] Clear Side Markers

I happen to have two sets. I paid $35 + shipping for each set. Make me an offer on the new ones or, I also have a used set, if you'd like - $25 shipped.

Re: performance

Keep it tuned up, plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, switch to synthetic oil, I'd suggest (Mobil 1) replace stock intake with cold air intake, air filter, change tranny oil or gear oil I'd suggest Royal Purple. Outlaw spacers.

Re: wont start

Is there oil in the spark plug wells? If so, then the valve cover gaskets would need replaced.
