Car won't behave for e-test
Ok, tried to get an e-test on my ZE (passed as a hot rod last time), and now they claim they can't get it to stay steady at 2500 rpm, after about 30 to 45 seconds it starts to hunt around.
Anyone had this issue before?

I just gotta say I love the pics, and I'm down for a set the second they're available. Tho I haven't been active at all around here in a long while, having done most of the major mods to my car I planned on. I still stopped by once in a while to check for news on projectors. Since I found out about ...

Check Engine Light Doesn't Work
Ok, some of you might have read my previous post "Misfires + Sometimes Stalls. Also Timing Question" I'm still having problems with that but I think I'm narrowing it down. I'm not sure if this could be related or not, but my CEL will not come on, I figured the bulb must be gone, so I swapp...

Ok... maybe related maybe not. Still haven't got my new rotor yet, but just something I noticed this morning. I was scouting out how to test my TPS wednesday after work, but since I don't have the proper feeler guages it really amounted to not much more than disconnecting it and checking resistances...

I wouldn't think it'd be the timing belt, it's not more than three years old. The fine folks at mazda tell me it's definatly an ignition problem, My HEI module seems to be fine, near as I can tell. I swapped it out for another just to be sure and it made no difference. I'm waiting on a new rotor as ...

SOLVED - Misfires + Sometimes Stalls. Also Timing Question
Ok, here's where I'm at. New fuel pump, ignition wires + plugs ~2yrs old, plugs cleaned and re-gapped last week. external coil w/ HCI. Alternator tested good, Battery tested good. new belts on the alt and on the power steering. Plus Volt, Fuel PSI, and Oil PSI guages to keep it all in check. After I...

Well, the charging system and batt seem to be a-one now, but she still skips sometimes when the revs are above 4k or below 2.5, at least now I can start it when she stalls :) Seems there might just be some truth to that dummy light thing. I'm thinking maybe the tensioner pully on the timing belt is ...

Well, I had the alt and battery checked, alt's good, battery needed a good long charge. My battery light on the dash has been burned out for about a year, guy at the battery shop told me without that light functioning properly the alt won't charge teh battery and said I was shit-lucky that it lasted...

Battery won't maintain charge + Starter Issue?
Ok, here's the problem. While driving at high RPMs the car would give quick studders occasionally. This problem started right after I ran the thing almost completely dry (did it then), so I figured I shot the pump, changed it up with a Walbro - no dice, seemed like it helped, didn't do it nearly as ...
