Re: oil light
The 92 Manual says a K8 should be 28 psi at 1000 rpm and 48-71 psi @ 3000 rpm.

Re: Oxygen Sensor for what car?
If you make a good solder joint and use properly sized heat shrink tubing the connection should last the life of the car... or sensor I guess. Doesn't change the fact that you get what you pay for as far as O2 sensor quality.

Re: oil light
um, I don't think so. I've got an autometer oil psi guage. it came with it's own sending unit. Just plug and play, no light in the dash anymore, but a dial guage is far more useful.

Re: Sticky TB
Lets go grave digging! So, anyone ever have any success with this issue? I'm having what seems to be the same issue. I'm also running the same TB as you jschrauwen. My car's sitting at work right now but I might head in later today to screw around with it some. After reading this thread I've got a c...

Re: Custom clear LED Turn signal.
I've been hassled about my white turn signals before. Of course I have white turns in the rear. Last OPP that pulled me went so far as to say I shouldn't have white side markers, of course he didn't say it was illegal, just said I should change 'em.

Ha, sweet man. I've been thinking about that for a long time. Just never got around to buying a front bumper that'd necessitate it.

Re: Just installed a USB port
Yea, you can't just take a port and hook your ground and 12v up to it. You gotta use a vehicle adapter and leave the circuitry inside it intact.

Re: Just installed a USB port
Yeah, the HVAC controls were that limited run that speedhut did way back. They light up blue, I'm pretty sure the ones offa ebay don't light up. As far as hooking up the usb it's dead simple. I cut off the plastic around the end of the adapter just to save a bit of space. you could hook it up withou...

Just installed a USB port
Check this, got sick of not being able to charge my phone in my ride. and since I cut out my cig-adapter long ago I figured I might as well chop a usb adapter right into the dash. I chopped the s--- outa a kensington usb adapter and soldered some wire leads on. Then I cut a bezel out of a black plas...

Re: Altezza Moisture
Yup, that's what I have to say. Pop a few holes in some out of the way places and you won't have another problem, unless you're a fiend with a pressure washer. Then you'll still get water in 'em... but it'll go away.

Re: Oxygen Sensor for what car?
I'm gonna throw my 2 cents at this, I recently tried some $25 4-wire universal bosch's, they seemed to work all right, but the car wasn't running the greatest. Not much different from before I changed 'em. So I read up on Seafoam and tried it through a vaccuum line, it destroyed the sensors, inversi...

Re: Who knows about the 7 nipple disty?
about replacing the cap, with an older car it can't hurt. I cleaned the contacts in mine on a number of occasions, and the last time I had ignition issues I found the cap was leaking voltage between terminals internally. It's pretty easy to check for with a digital multimeter. The cap was 16 years o...

Re: Strange Voltage at Coil Pos (+) HEI Mod w/ EXT Coil
Well, I'm pretty sure I've solved the problem. Thanks to Barry's new diagrams for the HEI mod in the V6 FAQ. I had previously had everything hooked up exactly as GroHarlem's diagram http://www.clubprotege.com/wil/howto/hei/index.htm had shown. Instead I cut the ECU trigger wire and the ignitor groun...

Re: Strange Voltage at Coil Pos (+) HEI Mod w/ EXT Coil
The tach only seems to bounce up and down while the engine is cranking now, but the car randomly bogs down under heavy acceleration. My Air/fuel guage reads heavily towards the rich side mostly. I've pulled my spark plugs, they were black so I cleaned them. Shortly after I got inversion errors on bo...
