Re: for people running +1500watts

but capasitors have a much higher discharge rate than bateries. if your system needs more current than the battery can discharge, then what? the system cant draw the power off the battery so it sucks it off everything else, lighting system, ignition, fuel system. your lights will start dimming with ...

Re: for people running +1500watts

caps are useless?
right if you really want to know how they work and what they do, here it goes.
a capacitor is an electrical storage device similar to a battery only the potential is created by the collapsing of a magnetic field instead of a chemical reaction, allowing caps to have a ...

Re: for people running +1500watts

Grounding it to the battery directly sould eliminate any engine noise. the whining engine noise that gets higher with rpm is caused by the ignition system, which is grounded to the frame. so by not using the frame you effectivly seperate the two circuits and should have no engine noise. if for some ...

Re: for people running +1500watts

is that 1500max or rms? because if your talking rms your gonna need a bigger or second alternator. if its max..........
-run 0/1 awg power and groud
-1 farad capacitor per 1000w.......so 2 farads
-battery will not really help sound quallity but it will extend how long the system will run wi...

theres a bar that connects the tranny to the shifter. its right next to the linkage but is bolted to the frame where the linkage comes out the bottom of the car, and the tranny itself. get under the car and make sure both bolts are tight. the bolt on the tranny comes loose sometime if i've been driv...

Re: Dual Exhuast for Mx-3

i looked into this also. 1st off are you talking true block back dual or just dual mufflers? if you go with just dual muffler you will simply make it slower although it will look cool. to run reall dual you would have to run no bigger than 1.25" pipes on each side. thats still probably a little...

Re: Clear signal lense

get the ones with no housing. if you want it to be truely clear you need to paint the inside(the inside of the housing is orange) of the housing so youd have to rip them open anyways. its not that much work to heat them up and pull the lenses off the housing. go for just the lenses and save some $$
