Re: n00b
Ya that looks like a curve neck klze. only downside of those is they have kl01 cams which are same as us spec klde. Put some kl31 cams in it if you want the full potential out of it without aftermarket cam regrinds. Look around in the classifieds if you want a set. I don't think that's gonna happen...

Re: n00b
Compression across all six was between 170 and 175.
Ahead of schedule....engine is on the stand and tranny is on the floor.
Minor disassembly and cleaning/painting next, along with new timing belt.

Re: n00b
thanks se7en! yeah I've done some similar work before and always gently scrape gasket surfaces and usually follow up with a scotch-brite. i'll probably only remove the IM, valve covers and oil pan (for cleaning/painting) but i thought i'd get the whole kit in case i want to knife-edge and port the h...

Re: n00b
Just an update... I moved my 93 out of dry comfort and to the side of the garage today, then brought the parts car in. Compression test tomorrow morning and then we'll run it for a while to see if the black smoke clears up. If things look good it'll be on the stand by Sunday night :) Ordered a CAI o...

ECU help
Hi Everyone. I have a curved neck KLZE that I plan to put in my 93 mx3. I'll probably be adding headers and a CAI but will be using a somewhat restricted (compared to ricer bombs) muffler because I want to keep the car as quiet as possible without sacrificing too much power. The stock ECU that's in ...

Re: Worn Drivers' Seat Repair - And you know the one I mean!!
Great job! A couple of years ago I re-upholstered my fiero in leather. For any one else attempting this, I would invest in a cheap pair of hog ring pliers. Makes putting the hog rings in a lot easier! naaaa...save your money for those new headers. With only a handful of rings to deal with, the tool...

[WTB] ECU for KLZE
Looking for either a JDM ECU or one from a Probe GT / MX6 that can be chipped by probinator.
I'd also be interested in anything after-market and/or stand-alone.
Anyone??

Re: sun roof ?
I am in the exact same situation. Any good at body work?? lol Fairing the sunroof into the existing roof by cutting a hole and "flange welding" it in would require serious blocking out to blend such a flat panel. the other option would be remove the glass and cut along the pillars, which w...
