Since i changed the ECU (KF-15 now) i got 9.32L/100km driving it moderate,high rpm aswell, mostly in the city. I use 94 octane.
I am pleased with the result so far, i wait for the trip to Ottawa, to see what i get.

It was some bad ground and air leaks in the intake system.

as the topic says im looking for some info from you guys that own a KF engine or owned before. I did a research on the internet about KF times , but i did not find anything. OK after tries and tries of setting th TPS and IAC i did not had a positive result, and now it seems the ISC is not working , the warm-up does not exist now. Could be that the TPS is not in the good position ?

I want to take advantage of this and post a link with my IDLE rpm , it looks low but i dont have any vibrations or neither the engine dies. worked good so far.

i suppose you have a KLZE , i think 1300 is to much, the same for 900 rpm. The k8 engine have normal idle at 670 rpm +30 or -30, i have a KFZE , idles around 600 or 700 .

It could be this famous HLA thick. I just noticed mine has to. I heard people here in the forum, doing an engine flush + adding synthetic oil 5w-30 or 10w-30 or even 0w-30,depends where you live .. it can be something else its just my opinion for now.
