just replace water pump, i just had to do this ,and while your at it do the timing belt and kit also if you have the extra cash throw a underdrive pulley on there as well!

Just for sake of curiosity,and to unify each genre of mx-3 owner to others, what year,model,engine and color do you have? I want to create the longest thread i can here so it will be easier for all fellow mxers to communicate with other mxers that have similar model years ,engine size,as we all know...

I've had the same problem as Jason in the past. I can't pull codes from diagnostic box, and can't pull codes from OBD-II connector. I'd like to hear from someone with a '96 who has successfully pulled codes. This is my question simplified!lol ty umcamera i would also like to see if anyone has suces...

i thought that using the paperclip on ten and ground only works for obd1 cars,and the obd 2 reader does not work for my car ,we tryed at my cousins shop,is their a special reader mazda are using specifically for reading codesfor this car ??
im really confused about this :?

ok here is my problem now ,i need to find a way to get the codes being thrown by my ecu,for this is the notorious stealership dream car! I just want to know if there is a way to get the codes witout going to the local stealership? any advice here would be appreciated cuz my discount mechanic can't e...

went to mechanics and found it to be the water pump, not cheap to fix but im going to! Its going to cost like over 1000.00 since im already there,doing the timing belt at the same time makes sense, anyone think that this to be a right price for this repair,cuz ive seen in these forums this to be a f...

ok,this is how my day went,checked my coolant this morning it was low so i added about a liter and a half of pre-mix then drove to work,fine.. got off work started car and idled fine for about a minute then jumped to 3500 to about 1100rpm then progresively came back to normal after about 10 minutes ...

just thought i would add that if you have any large amount of snow in the center of your rim this will cause wheel to be unbalanced,clean off snow to resolve shaky wheel..
this happened to me and as soon as i cleaned off snow no more shaky steering wheel..
