go drive your car for a while. your computer got used the the flow of the carnon covered tb you had and since its clean the flow is different. just drive it around and see if it gets better and your computer re adjusts it self

i was including your wheel bearings. so wit h120 and 75 and well my price i had 60 each for the bearings and than coolant aswell. litle over 300.

for what its worth, it doesnt really take much to swap a 4 to a 6. the only problem is the fuel lines and heater core lines need to be extended. i've been looking throughb my old pictures of when i was rebuilding my b6 and comparing them to the gs i pulled my ze from and really it can be done fairly...

oh i didnt know it was a 6 cyl lol. but yea try and find a friend oyu know or soemthing that is good with working on cars and take a day and fix it. by the end of it you will probly only end up spending 350- 400.

how in the hell is it 500 for your bearings. there 60$ each or atleast mine were. and than take your spindles off your self and take them to a machine shop and they should press them in for like 20$. and try cleanigng your iac. just my idea for that and to save you a bit of cash.

go start your car let it run til it at usual running temp shut it off and take your rad cap off. it does build pressure because of the coolant getting hot. and last time i checked the tap on my kitchen sink didnt put out 8 - 12 psi of pressure like most rad caps. and if tehre was no pressure in a co...

like i said the pressure that wasnt there before with the pcv line you had used ot fix the iac line let out the pressure it usually builds up and once that pressure was back the pump couldnt take it. but still dont drive for very long or your going to end up have to replace the headgasket aswell.

you cant just clean out the water pump to fix it, it has to be replaced. and yes on average it doesnt take long to bleed it but some places will say it does because they have to make sure verything still works after. but yo uwill be into a bit of money haveing the job done. and ther realyl is no qui...

price of the pump when i priced it otu yesterday up here was 72.xx and i know my work does 80 an hour for labour and since theres still bleeding the system and that after... coouple hundred at that off the top of my head. but if you know a good friend that would be willing to do it for a case of bee...

it might just be because he didnt use the proper hose to fix thge leak the first time. and ll the pressure in the system was being put out at that spot and since now he has the proper high pressure hose its putting pressure on his waterpumpRyan wrote:Its probably unrelated.

doesny matter if the pump is brand new reman'ed or the original they can go regardless. if you had it done once before it could be a faulty waterpump. it happens. just to be safe until you actually find out what it is dont go on long trips or else you may end up doing a head gasket which would suck ...

the blend door for the heater is probly stuck on cold, cause im just guessing you switched it over so you dont have hot air blowing in, in the summer. and you may have some calcium build up in the heater core itself and may need to be flushed out
