feels good, kinda want more power now but gotta settle for what i have right now. might possibly do turbo over winter but dunno maybe sooner.

ok so, i got my Yellow top Interstate (great battery company) Optima battery last week and its great. and than the other day i moved it to the trunk. but yea heres a couple pics just of whats happened with it this year. cant wait to get teh mazdaspeed bumper painted *PICTURE QUALITY IS NOT GREAT USE...

its all together already from last year. but since putting the chipped ecu in i dont really notice much of a change yet. but the no engine is hard to get used to. but yea the flywheel is all balanced and everything. but anyways hopefully get more pics up soon and thnx for the comments.

ok so its been a while since i put anything up here, been having fun driving the car :P. so yea ZE works great, just got it out friday and install my new yellow top deep cycle optima battery ( hehe got it at cost :) ) and the new ecu from greg (muzzled) and gotta getr to work soon on the mazdaspeed ...

hey nightshade, talked to guy at work today and you and i are both right, the different octane levels do prevent knock and prignition and detonation. but they do also burn differently. but anyways..... have you even checked your vacuum yet? 17 - 21 inch pounds is prety much average at an idle.

actually 87 and 91 octane do burn differently 87 burns faster and 91 burns slower. octane has nothing to do with prdetination. predetination happens cause its either to hot and your timings off.

well if your timing belt jumps ususally theres a a tensioner problem or jut driving it way to hard. but thats just the only thing ive seen to cause it

It's tricky because a lot of things can cause this. Most frequently it's just a vacuum leak. But it could be fuel and spark related as well. My MX-3 is doing a similar thing at the moment but I think it's because my timing is off. timing wouldnt do that, but anyways you guys replaced your plugs wel...
