Re: Change your wheel bearings!

I'm getting a sound like you describe, but it increases when I turn (either direction). Do you think it's the same thing? I'll check for bearing play this weekend either way.

Grease zirk anyone?
I know it's really old technology, and messy, but it will keep the steel from rusting.

But......
Since they are resistant to EM/RF, you could cover your car in them and be safe during a nuclear attack.

Re: Low fuel light on 92 1.6L

Maddev1, the online manual does indeed say 13.2gal, but I've never trusted that. I've used 10.7gal but it scared me to go that far with the low fuel light on. What I've heard is that although the tank does have a 13.2gal total volume, you will not be able to fill it up totally with gasoline, as it n...

Re: Low fuel light on 92 1.6L

Mine does the same thing. I get around 9.5 - 10+ gallons depending on how long I drive with the low fuel light on. I don't mind as it helps me calculate my mpg more easily. :)

Re: Won the lottery...

I would build a B6 to get 200hp NA, if I had unlimited funds.

Since that's borderline impossible (I don't believe that anything is totally impossible), it would use enough of those unlimited funds that I'd have to buy my wife another farm and a herd of horses to compensate. :D

Re: Consider Winter Tires This Winter

I totally agree with your basic premise! I grew up in central Nebraska where the snowdrifts are much deeper than the actual snowfall. I never thought I needed snow tires until my first winter (in Colorado) with my MX-3. I was OK with starting in 2nd gear, and beginning braking much sooner, but the f...

I got hit from behind by a kid in a civic going 50mph.
I was on my Schwinn.
Now I own an MX-3.

You are absolutely right, and I should have been more clear.
I wish my '95 was OBDII, but it isn't. :(

Re: 92 to 95 Interchangeability. (Please reply ASAP)

A '95 should not be OBDII, mine isn't.

I think everything you mentioned would be interchangeable, but I'm not the authority by any means.
I'll second wytbishop, go for it!

Re: Spyder Halo Projector Headlights for Your Mx3! Coming Soon..

Hey Spyderman, Please don't be offended by peoples' remarks here, there have been a number of people/companies that offered to create projector headlights for our MX-3s and every one so far has failed. It has reached the point of Epic Fail overall. There are a lot of people here that desperately wan...
