Re: Axle noise

Thanks guys, I'll have it checked out. Yeah it makes the noise when I go slow around corners. The CV joints would cost about how much? <P>J

Axle noise

I'm having a cracking and clicking noise come from my axle when I turn corners, both right and left. I have a feeling that it could be serious, has anyone had this problem and is it most likely the axle needs replacement? Could it be something else? Thanks in advance <P>J

Indiglo pedal attachment

Anyone know if the indiglo pedals being sold on Ebay are screw into the pedal like the MX custom ones or are they cheap clamp ones that don't stay on very well? The screw in ones are much better quality. <P>Also, does anyone know if the carbon fiber bezel surrounding the gauges being sold on Ebay no...

Re: Gauge cover scratched

I have the same problem in with my gauges, the inside plastic is dirty and has water spots on it. I was wondering also how to get to the inside of the plastic guages so i could clean it. I unscrewed the top 3 screws and it wouldn't come out. I figured that there were more screws under the steering w...

Re: Help please!

Ya, you're break pads have probably worn through and now the brakes are grinding the rotors... Metal to metal is the sound and it is not good. My MX had the problem a while back and I had to get new rotors and break pads at the local Midas and it cost quite a bit. Can't remember how much but the sou...

Re: Poll:Top speed in your MX-3?

When the MX first came out, I read a Car and Driver report that had a 92 GS topping out at 145 miles/hour. This was a performance test was done with professionals. I personally have had my 92 GS up to 138 mph on flat ground at it was near the redline on the tachometer. Not too sure I could have it g...

Re: ignorant honda boys

Well fortunately for me, I get to see both sides of the Honda/Acura vs MX-3 argument that exists. I own a 92 Mazda MX-3 GS and a 1989 Honda Accord. And yes, one is much nicer than the other (it goes without saying). However, when I am driving in my 4cyl 2.0 lit. Accord, I want to go as fast as I do ...

Re: Other people's cars?

I have two new pictures linked here if anyone wants to see them. Remember this is not a webpage really, I just created it so I could post pictures of my car. Also I am not sure if the link is working or not so here is a new URL.<P>J<A HREF="http://www.geocities.com/hotjaymurf/Jays_MX3.html?1004...

Re: Other people's cars?

For sure on that sircruiser, i agree totally that 5 star are out, i have always preferred chrome wheels anyways. I love seeing them go by at night, the flash that comes off of them. True, they are a b---- to keep clean in bad weather, but are worth it for the looks. My wheels look better in person f...

Other people's cars?

I like seeing all the members cars on the bulletin board without having to visit their website... So i'm gonna post my car (a lousy pic, but one nonetheless) and see if anyone else posts their picture. It is <A HREF="http://www.geocities.com/hotjaymurf/Jays_MX3.html." TARGET=_blank>http://...

Racing stripes

Thinking about getting em for my MX, just wondering what prices some of you may have paid for your racing stripes (that is if you have them), I am talking about vinyl stripes, not the actual paint... Also what have people used to pattern the holes in the vinyl that they put over their taillights? Ho...

Chrome kick panels

Does anyone know about replacement kick panels for the black plastic ones on the bottom of the door? I would like to replace mine because they are starting to get scratched up. I remember a web site a few months ago that I was at that had chrome MX-3 kick panels. Anyone have any information about re...

Re: Blacking out side markers

Would black vinyl allow the light through? The paint would work good I guess, it doesn't look cheesy does it?
