Hey i am getting a code 03 from my car. I know its located inside the disty. I have the HEI mod and external coil. Is there anyway i can fix this? any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

When using the external coil, all you are doing is bypassing the disty. You are just using the disty to throw the spark to each plug wire. The 3 pin connector is connected to the ext. coil. Still haven't figured out what my problem is. I have checked all my plugs, and they are all good, checked my firing order. Going to get the exhaust fixed on friday. Will repost if this helps or not.

I ran into a problem with the 3 pin connector while i was doing the mod. I used an external coil. Currently i dont have the connector plugged in. I found out that it would start without it, so i just cut it off. She starts, and drives very well. Not sure if this helps.

I have a leak in my exhaust where it goes to the cat. My idle jumps from 750 down to like 500. Anyone know if this would cause that? I have checked all of my vaccum hoses/connections. Its fine while driving down the road, but if its in neutral it sounds like its putting.....

Not sure where to put this question, does the 4cyl and 6cyl have the same cat? Cause i found one on ebay for a 4cyl, but it says that it doesn't fit the 6.

Okay nevermind. Searched myself, (should have done this first) and found that it will interchange as the de and the k8 are the same on the outside.
