Re: Do I need a new clutch
forgot to mention that i noticed the rust coated flywheel in the background of one of the pics, you definately want that thing clean like a morror before you put it together and resurfacing is 25-30 dollars as opposed to a brand new napa one for only 15 dollars more. if you get the kit and flywheel ...

Re: oil in intake
it looks like thats where it was coming from ... I broke the old one when I accidentally leaned on it loosening a tranny bolt so I cant check if the valve was bad but i got a new one hopefully thats where the smoke was coming from and not the rings..... Re: Clutch issues :(
Thats how a big problem started for me. at first it felt like yours, within a couple of weeks the throwout bearing started making some noise and then, BAM, everything flew apart. http://www1.snapfish.com/thumbnailshare/AlbumID=220881840/a=18925656_18925656/fromupload=true/imagecount=17/videocount=0/...

Here's a link to the pics of the clutch job. the shaft that the throwout bearing rides on is all chewed up by the old one flying apart. one of the flywheel pins came out to do I need to worry about that? http://www1.snapfish.com/thumbnailshare/AlbumID=220881840/a=18925656_18925656/fromupload=true/im...

Re: 92 mx3 clutch
the mx-6 clutch is 3/8" bigger in diameter will this affect anything? Will the pressure plate from the mx-6 clutch kit bolt onto my Mx-3 flywheel without any problems?
My MX-3 is a '92 1.8
the earliest MX-6 kit available is '93
Thank you ....
