Maybe check your power door lock relay, motor, and switch. Relay could be stuck open or closed. Not very common, but it happens. There's also a sunroof relay underneath the headliner, behind the sunroof, towards the back of the car.

Hope this can help.

I've been reading basically everything on this forum for the past few months and have just recently created a username and started posting a little. I have done tons of research on my car and spent countless days reading posts and working on the car. I'm interested in purchasing a written-off car wi...

I had a similar problem. My air intake hose was cracked. When I would open the throttle, the torque from the engine would open the crack further. This allowed air to enter the throttle body (by-passing the MAF) and the car would stumble terribly and stall. It can be difficult to spot a cracked intak...

I'm not 100% sure, I'm not able to check my car right now, but I don't think think there's a hole in the window. I believe it's mounted on the hatch itself.

I don't claim to know everything, but I've completely disassembled and reassembled my mx-3, and spent countless hours on this site. (My girlfriend can't stand it. 8) )

Every MX-3 I've seen at the auto-wrecker here in Winnipeg has the charcoal canister still attatched to the passenger side of the firewall. As for the solenoid, I'd check at the front desk of the wrecker and see if there's still one on an engine. Hope this helps.
