If you wanted you could add a breather filter to the end of it, just to keep debris from getting into the EGR valve.

Those are the valet buttons for the Clifford. They are used for programming the module, as well as manually putting the car in and taking it out of valet mode. Valet mode disables the remote start function for when you are working on the vehicle.

Sounds like it could be the infamous "valve tap" issue. Do a quick search, and you will find more than I could possibly tell you.

give this a try Princess.. locate the fuse for the Daytime Running lights.. Pull the fuse.. then see if the behavior continues. You kinda have to be lying on your back, with your head under the dash to see it. Likely you'll have the conncector, even if your car isn't OBD-II, I do.
