Re: car stalls when turning left.
I cleaned one of the grounds on the sending unit and it hasnt done it since so i think that i solved the problem. a little bit of dielect greese goes a long way.

[FS] kl36 ECU
For sale is a kl36 ecu. asking for $150. The sticker on the front is worn off but inside the eprom reads 079753-1910 which it is kl36 and 079753-1911 is kl31. There was no CEL and there was a speed limiter at around 180klm/h so it is a kl36 ecu. http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u179/danthomas11/DS...

Code 69, May be a nice number but its buggin me!
So i have code 69, coolant temp sensor. So far ive replaced both sensor and sender with new parts. I chose the temp sensor from a 94 probe gt. There were 2 options for the temp sensor, if the car was auto or manual. So i baught both, the one for the manual car didnt fit into the pigtail for the sens...

Re: Engine knocking?
I think it's the timing belt tensioner. When mine went my car sounded like a diesel. i took it as an excuse to swap to a ze.
I took the tensioner out and i could compress the tensioner with my fingers with no effort at all.

Re: B&M SHORT SHIFTER PROBLEM!@#$
Did you use the lube they gave you when you installed it? Whats happening is probably as the exhaust heats up it heats up the shifter linkages and the metal expands and because there is no lube it sticks.
thats what i think.

Re: Really Confussed now....
In 94 they did away with the sensor on the filler neck so you'l only have one. thats what i mean, im confussed now cuz i have 2. i never looked at my k8 filler neck hard enough to see how many sensors there were on it so i dont know if they switch my k8 filler neck with the ze filler neck when i ha...

Where is the green sensor located? i only see two on my filler neck. one is black and the other is a small one with a butt and blade connector.

Really Confussed now....
Okay, so im totally confussed on this coolant temp sensor business. Now i had a kl31 ecu in my car so the rad fan was constantly on. I recently got a probiantor chip put it into my k8 ecu and the rad fan is still constantly on. Now before i chipped my k8 ecu i switched the ecu's and the rad fans wer...

Re: car stalls when turning left.
well so far ive cleaned the grounds on my fuel pump, maybe that will do something but i doubt it. It stated to do it shortly after i did my ze swap then i changed my gas tank, it went away for a bit but now its starting again.

car stalls when turning left.
Every so often when i turn on a hard left my car shuts off. my radio cuts out and my tach drops but when i straighten out everything turns back on. I heard that it was fuel pump related, like the wiring to the fuel pump. I just checked that now and everything looks well connected with no loose wires...

KLZE collant temp sensors
Okay, i need some help here. Im puzzled. Ive got the ze swap done and since ive swapped my ecu(kl36) my rad fan has been constantly on. Im thinking its because of the coolant temp sensors, but when i look at my filler neck it has 2 temp sensors, and this is really throwing me off. There is one senso...

Re: I must be doing somethign wrong
ahhh i think i know why now. I havnt hooked up the second coolant temp sensor yet so my rad fan is always on. that may be why the timing is constantly being retarded to another state after i adjust it. I had a look and it seems as though its gunna be easier to tap in a new sensor than it is to switc...
