Even on my old motor which had 240k on it I put a full can to 1/2 a tank... seafoam is a product used to clean out a car engine. Go to http://www.youtube.com and type in seafoam. You will see what it is used for and how it is used. if there is a crack in your exhaust system the thick white smoke from the seafoam will show through.
