I'm having this same problem too with a 1997 1.8L v6 eunos 30x - although it seems to mainly happen when cold. When I start the car in the mornings it revs up to about 1200rpm, then gradually increases up to over 2000rpm in park. It got up to about 2500rpm this morning! As soon as I put it into ...

After driving the car today I'm starting to think it shouldn't take all that much to get it running properly again. It is running quite nicely - especially at higher RPM (despite it changing gears at really wrong times!)Definitely the O2 sensors need replacing no doubt ...

Yes I am from Australia, and so far I am finding these cars are incredibly hard to find parts for... there are many places that have no idea what the car is! No matter though, as I am nearby to shops that can source any parts usually hehe. Plus I did see some at the wreckers ...
