I think Josh has it bang on (yet again). Choose the correct DIA of pipe and plan it out the way you want it to look. most shops will give you advice and build it with form and function in mind. In most cases, you can just bring your tips, etc and they'll put it together

First sorry for being lazy, but I only read the most recent post and not all I do feel that a single exit exhaust is the best choice. I don't believe there is any flow increase.. or minimal at best with a dual exit setup. You will always be limited to the flow through the single section before it tw...

shouldn't you have a torque plate to simulate the head attached during the honing process?

I've seen pics of someone with a VC that he modified. Looks like he too an angle grinder to it and removed the portion that was over the cam gears. It looked like he did a great job and was thinking about doing this as well.

I am still debating doing the internals and Mike gave me a spare head I was thinking about working on as well. Will have numbers around spring. I have to get off my butt and wrenching again.

Evo and K have helped a lot... I feel that some of the best info can be found in the Worklogs. Maybe giving some of the best a FAQ or sticky status would be good. But would still require editing by the OP.
