Re: B6de->BP swap
Sorry, I was talking about the OBDII and 94+ OBDI. Maf and TPS and Dizzy... etc seem to be the same. The BP will not be. (Don't know why I was talking about that in the first place.... )

Re: B6de->BP swap
No, the sensors are wired the same... as far as I have found thus far. The ECU side is totally different. It's 3 plug instead of 2. You may want to double check the part number on your ecu just to be sure.

Here's a little help. Something I found a little while back. This is not my page, it probably belongs to one of our current members. It should help out a lot!

Re: B6de->BP swap
I'm not too sure if the UK went OBDII, if so.. you will need a full wiring harness and ecu.

Re: Calgary area shops
The parts are actally quite cheap. There are several kits on ebay (not too sure if some are better than others). There are many of us in Calgary and area... Maybe someone would be willing to lend a hand. No harm in asking.

Sounds great. But these GI threads always seem to hurt my feelings.

Re: Comprehensive headgasket replacement guide?
So, you can actually take your head off with out getting it resurfaced? I was always told to have it machined before replacing the HG and sealing it back up. Can anyone else confirm this?

Re: klze vs bp(t)
You've gone from a ZE to a BPT? Then why ask it the ze tranny would bolt up to a bp? Seems like someone is trying to get their post count up.

Re: klze vs bp(t)
you can't worry about fuel prices on one hand and willing to spend lots of money and time with an unorthodox swap. If you have a turbo, you need to run premium. None of this makes sense.
