I had the same issue with the 96 RS. There are too many different pins. Save yourself the trouble and swap the harness and ecu.

I've got a 4 banger. I'm still a couple of months b4 I am ready to hit the dyno and do the tune. I will bring the extra plugs to prove them on a turbo B6. Dsport mag did about 4 or 5 page write up on them 1 or 2 months ago. They tested them out on a G35, EVO 8 (ish) and something else. Gains as much as 10hp over the dyno graphs.
