Re: AC Compressor help!

Ok, So I went back out and followed the wires around and realized I didn't even have a fuse in AD FAN slot. But as soon as I put the fuse in (battery connected, ignition off, acc off) it blew. So then I took out the FAN relay (the six lead relay with diodes) and it didn't blow again. Like I said bef...

Re: AC Compressor help!

The relays are fine, I tested them out. The voltages going into the first relay (closest to the windshield) are strange. In fact, there are no voltages at all which could explain why it doesn't work when plugged in. The second relay works fine when I press the AC button, it turns the condenser fan o...

AC Compressor help!

Did a quick search for my problem and couldn't find anything. On my 93 1.6L mx3, I just replaced my AC compressor and I thought it was going to fix my AC problem but then I realized that the clutch wasn't engaging so I checked the lead coming from the compressor and there was no voltage when the AC ...

Power Steering Tightening bolt specifications

Searched and couldn't find anything... :( I need to tighten my power steering/AC compressor belt and I broke the bolt about a year ago and lost it. Does anybody know what the specs are for that tightening bolt? Like the thread pitch and overall length and flange diameter? Any help would be greatly a...

Re: Audiovox CCS-100 Cruise Control Installation

It has a sensor for that. It will automatically disengage the throttle if it senses a spike in RPM's. It's hooked up to the ignition so it knows when it's sparking.

Re: Backup / Reverse lights always on

Turned out to be a confusion on my part between the neutral switch and the reverse switch. It ended up being the reverse switch, replaced it and it works great now. Thanks.

[WTB] Stereo/Heat control Bezel

Hey Guys,

I was looking to get another Stereo/Heat/Cig Lighter Bezel that'll fit my 93. Doesn't matter what color or really what condition, as long as it's all there.

Re: Audiovox CCS-100 Cruise Control Installation

No, i think what its doing is just calculating a speed in terms of radians and then pulling or loosening the throttle so that it stays at that speed.

Re: Audiovox CCS-100 Cruise Control Installation

Yea, i dont have a VSS wire in my mx3 so the controller needs to know how fast the car is going. The magnets pass by the sensor and creates a pulse, this is really similar to what newer cars due in their transmissions (i believe).

Re: Where the VSS wire is? If there even is one...

Yea i have a gps unit but i bought a universal cruise control unit that i guess i will have to add via the magnet and sensor because there is no vss wire. Has anyone else here done that? Its the audiovox ccs-100 kit i bought off amazon for 70 shipped.
