From the top sounds like a good way. I however took the hard way i guess. Dropped the exhaust at the front and then popped the alt between the steering & axel. Going back up was a pain that way.

does it light up when plugged in? if not try another port/pc. listing says it has a protection switch on the side. flip that and see what happens when you plug it in.

i was taking my old one out and the ground caught a part of the body shorting the main fuse in the engine bay (im stupid for not disconnecting battery first i know). What wire touched the body? Because it wasn't a ground wire like posted. Might do a complete ECU restart by taking the positive wire ...

Well last weekend I went and got my wheel bearing replaced. Guess what? No more shudder when I take left turns! Unfortunately my lower ball joint boot is shot so I have to figure out how to take off that now... seems like that bolt holding it in is frozen... I also replaced the outer tie rod. sound...

To Lost_mx3 I don't buy the shops line about putting so much flow through the motor. They're feeding you a line. The thermostat operates to build up heat and maintain operating temperature.
