blowing 30amp fan fuse
Car overheated, checked fans function. Primary wasn't working. Fuse was blown. Replaced fuse. Week later, happens again. Ideas?

a/c kills car
'93 1.6, 5spd, 195k. When I'm sitting at idle with a/c running, the car often dies when the a/c cycles. Rpm's just drop and it dies. Any ideas where to start?

Re: Head Gasket maybe?
Just used Seafoam last month. I need to figure out the problem as a whole...especially the compression issue and everything else I described.

Re: CEL code 3 and crank angle sensor?
Main relay on my '93 is next to the ECU. Take the passenger side kick panel off and you should be staring at it.

Head Gasket maybe?
Started to notice a little bit of a decrease in fuel economy, bout 3mpg less. Car overheats if kept in 1st gear in tight traffic, 5-10mph with lots of coasting. Losing coolant somewhere. Car has felt as if there's a slight miss when I take off sometimes. I did a compresion test today. Noticed the pl...

Re: Common Problem for me, rare for the internet?
I was having a similar problem on my '93 1.6 I would experience the same jerking issue as if I were burping the throttle, and the car would die. Sometimes it would start back up immediately, other times it wouldn't. After a couple months of that, I went out to start the car and it would crank like c...

'99 Protege engine?
Found a '99 protege close by that's wrecked. I was wondering if I could use the 1.8 out of it to swap into my '93 mx3 with the 1.6
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Distributor Problems
I have a '93 mx-3 with the 1.6 that I recently had the same problem with. The module on mine is external so I tested that and the coil and everything checked out fine. I could turn the car over as long as I wanted but it just wouldn't produce a spark. I got to thinking and wondered if it may be the ...

Front seat swap
Hey folks. The bolster on my seat is pretty torn up (bad knee so I slide into and out of the car). I don't have any tools to fab any rails and what not so I need to know what seats will be a direct fit. Somebody said seats from an escort and a protege or 323 will fit but I wanted to double check. Wh...
