i just checked my vris today, first one opens at 4000 regardless of throttle position and the second opens at about 5000.

boosted needs lower comp pistons, and ze heads are better then de heads

does the engine just seem to rev slowly untill 5k or still revs fast , just no power?

i have an extra k-8 engine laying around it bruned about 1L of oil a day so i dont think its going to be used again ill check out the condition of the cover and let you know.

yeah i like that too,im buying a ZE soon and id rather just buy a curve neck to begin with, hittin up the drag strip is fun but i only make it out 2-3 times a summer lol. if i bought a curve neck i would just have to get a new ecu and vaf right?

less compression and pissibly ticking?

it sounds like you have a vacuum leak not a bad clutch , if your clutch is bad then it wont grab, when you try taking off in 5th it will rev up and not stall if the clutch is bad.

from what i hear our starters are quite tough.
