my k8 is bone stock except for 2.5" straight pipe and a dynomax muffler and has over two hundred thousand miles and still runs better than 2.5's with a little over a hundred thousand miles i am very happy with my 1.8 and entirely support the build of all 1.8s i have heard a lot of people saying...

has anyone ever actually built a 1.8 like im about to build im talking 300 horsepower with nitrous and all the labor will be done by myself. DTM

hey mine had the same problem but when i raced it at the track after a few passes it quit for a couple of days then it came back untill i did the clutch i had the wires break on a sensor that hooks to the tranny and found when they were put together the idle would be fine but when you took them apar...
