Struts?
Yoda,
I'm going to rule out a shawdy balance job, because my brother is a tech, and he did it, so I trust him. But he did tell me that I need new struts in the back - he said they're bone dry.
Could this be the issue?

Shimmy/wobble on highway - not balance or alignment - HELP!
If anyone can shed some light on this problem for me, I'd be forever indebted. My 94' 4-cyl. shakes on the highway. It's not in the steering wheel, and it's not while braking (although my rear brakes need to be done - I have a wobble and squeal - but this is unrelated, I think). I have had the front...

AHHHHH!!!!! frustration setting in......
OK, so I removed and cleaned the TB, adjusted the TPS w/ the feeler gauges & multimeter (it's DEAD on now), and proceeded to adjust the idle. Here's what I did: Turn off engine, and ignition. Jumped TEN->GND Turned on ignition. No error codes. Turned on engine. Allowed to warm to operating temp....

Old topic, new question (help w/ TB please!)
So, I read and printed the throttle body cleaning procedure, but I'm iffy on the removal part of it. Do I really need to do a coolant flush before removal??

Help! Need to cool down! (A/C installation)
So I tried searching first, but hit a brick wall, so here it is: I have a '94 RS 1.6 DOHC, 5 spd, no air conditioning. I WANT A/C! Anyone know how I would go about installing A/C in my car? I can't even imagine that trying to pull a complete unit out of a scrapper would be a good idea, so what are m...

Had same problem...
I had the same problem. I took off the front wheels, and ripped out the heat shields. Turns out, they were scraping against the inside of the rim. Oddly enough, I could only hear it at very low speeds (0-5km/h) and while turning. Cold weather made it worse too.
Easy fix!
