the click is definately from the timing side of the engine but it makes the car lose power when it makes the noise then it will click the next time or in a couple of days and the engine will be back to normal it does this all the time.

its definately not the lifters. its just one click, i disconnected the knock sensor and the noise still happened.

took the car to the garage and problem cured. turned out there was an engine wiring loom problem and the co2 level was extremely high it was just chucking in fuel. car is better now. thanks for all the help.
